Lauren Salvato

Former Secchi Dip-In Program Coordinator

Lauren is the former Secchi Dip-In Program Coordinator for the North American Lake Management Society. She took over the water quality citizen science program after eminent limnologist Dr. Bob Carlson retired from Kent State University. Lauren graduated from University of New Mexico in 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and from Indiana University in May 2018 with a M.P.A. and M.S.E.S. in Water Management. Since her time in the laboratory, she has worked for the Grand Canyon National Park, US Fish and Wildlife Bloomington Field Office, and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, yoga, and cycling.
