Indiana Clean Lakes Program

The Indiana Clean Lakes Program is a comprehensive, statewide public lake management program created by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) and administered through a grant to Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA).

R.A.I.N. Initiative

The R.A.I.N. (Restorative Adaptations for Infrastructure) Initiative is an action- and research-based organization founded by students to improve and install green infrastructure for the purposes of stormwater management at Indiana University and in the city of Bloomington.

National Lakes Assessment

The National Lakes Assessment (NLA), administered by the U.S. EPA, is a statistical survey of the condition of our nation's lakes, ponds, and reservoirs. The Limnology Lab is contracted by IDEM to perform the surveys of Indiana’s lakes.
