Director, Indiana Clean Lakes Program
Melissa Laney is the director of the Indiana Clean Lakes Program, a statewide public lake monitoring program that is part of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM)'s Office of Water Management. She has written a series of reports on lakes and watersheds for government agencies. Melissa graduated from Indiana University's School of Public & Environmental Affairs in 1999 with an M.S.E.S. in Applied Ecology. She now serves as a senior lecturer at her alma mater and is the Limnology Lab's project manager & quality control officer.
